Alter Ego was a high-end fashion performance led by Matilda Alegria, partnering with leading local performers, artists, businesses and organizations. This community event demonstrated the Territories international capabilities through a range of innovative talents including fashion design, music, dance, print and much more.
The collection was inspired by pop art and Sin City, but with a local twist. Graphics from local artist Franck Gohier of Red Hand Prints were designed and printed onto material and used within the avant-garde and ready to wear collection. The collaboration continued with established music producer and ARIA nominee James Mangohig who created an original track and performed live on the Alter Ego runway.
